Six months ago, everything fell apart. No one’s calling it a virus anymore—there’s no one left to name it. The dead don’t stay dead, and whatever came through this state hit hard and fast. Cities burned. People turned. Families vanished overnight.Nashville was ground zero for the breakdown—once a city of music, now just a graveyard of echoing screams and silent streets. The military tried to hold it, tried to quarantine the infected zones. That lasted maybe a week. When they pulled out, they left behind more than corpses.
There were rumors about a research lab beneath Vanderbilt—something about failed cures, early tests, or worse. Nobody talks about what really went down there... but not everyone made it out. Now the world’s broken into pieces. Factions have formed. Some offer protection, others just want control. You can join them or go your own way, but either choice could get you killed. Nashville’s just the center. The rot spread far beyond the city. The roads out to Chattanooga, Knoxville, Jackson—they’re all part of this wasteland now.
